Terms of use
In force as of 27 October 2026
1. Purpose and acceptance
These terms govern the use of the Océan Patients: PRU Thérapie application (“the app”) on Mac, iPad and iPhone. Installing or using the app means accepting these terms in their current version.
2. Publisher
The app is published by Rose Longa (“the publisher”), an individual acting on a non-professional basis. Contact: oceanpatients.contact@proton.me. Hosting information is given in the legal notice.
3. Intended users and access
The app is reserved for practitioners trained in Luc Peroni’s P.R.U. method (Psycho-Référentiel Universel) (“the practitioner”), who use it in their support practice. It is based on the P.R.U. method, with Luc Peroni’s permission. Access is granted by invitation from the publisher. Should paid access ever be offered, it would be subject to specific terms communicated to the practitioner before any commitment.
4. Nature of the app
The app is a tool to organise client support: records, sessions, appointments, the method’s library and video calls. The interpretations and leads it offers are aids for the conversation. They are not a diagnosis, medical advice or a prescription, and do not replace a consultation with a healthcare professional.
5. Practitioner’s commitments
- The practitioner is solely responsible for the information they record and the support they provide.
- They make no diagnosis, neither prescribe nor stop any treatment, and make no promise of cure. They refer the client to a healthcare professional whenever the situation requires it.
- Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), they are the controller of the data of the people they support: they inform them, obtain their consent where the law requires it — in particular for video calls and transcription — and handle their requests to exercise their rights.
- They protect access to their devices and to the app (passcode, Face ID or Touch ID) and make regular backups.
- They use the app in accordance with applicable law and these terms.
6. Intellectual property and method content
The app (code, interface, texts, icon and visuals) belongs to the publisher. The P.R.U. method content built into the app (library, course texts, references) belongs to Luc Peroni and is included with his permission.
The practitioner receives a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the app and this content, limited to their support practice and to the duration of their access. Any reproduction, representation, translation, adaptation or distribution outside the app, in whole or in part, is prohibited without the written permission of the rights holders (article L.122-4 of the French Intellectual Property Code).
The activation code for the method content is reserved for trained practitioners and must not be shared with anyone.
7. Zoom video calls
Video calls use the practitioner’s personal Zoom account and the official kit of Zoom Video Communications, Inc. Their use is subject to Zoom’s terms and privacy policy, accepted by the practitioner. The publisher has no access to the Zoom account or to meetings.
8. Personal data
The publisher collects none of the data recorded in the app. She does not host, receive or view any of it, and therefore provides no health data hosting on behalf of third parties. Details are in the privacy policy.
9. Availability and liability
The publisher strives to keep the app working properly and to fix reported errors. The app is provided without any guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher shall not be liable for interruptions or malfunctions caused by third-party services (Apple, Zoom, the internet), for data loss resulting from the practitioner’s failure to back up, or for the use the practitioner makes of the content and leads offered in their practice.
10. Apple licence
When the app is obtained through the App Store or TestFlight, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These terms supplement it. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app, its content or its support.
11. Duration and end of access
Access is granted for an indefinite period. The practitioner may stop using the app and delete it at any time. The publisher may withdraw access if the activation code or method content is shared, or in the event of a serious breach of these terms, after informing the practitioner, except in an emergency. Data recorded remain on the practitioner’s devices and iCloud, under their control.
12. Changes to these terms
The publisher may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its date. The practitioner is informed of any significant change; continuing to use the app means accepting the new version.
13. Severability and language
If any clause is held void or unenforceable, the other clauses remain in force. These terms are written in French, English and Spanish; in case of any difference in interpretation, the French version prevails.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable solution by writing to oceanpatients.contact@proton.me. Failing agreement, the dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
